The Role:The role of the Project Engineer is to manage and control the execution of the engineering activities related to a project, performing structural analysis, designs and calculations according to project tasks and client requirements

university degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (essential)
advanced English, written and oral (essential)
knowledge of a second language (desiderable)
IT applications: AutoCAD, Ms Office, MS Project
strong problem solving
high level of technical aptitude
precision
good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
ability to work in a dynamic, global environment
willingness to travel-both international and domestic

Duties:

perform engineering structural calculations for plans and drawings related to transport and lifting of heavy components (including activities of Shipping, Barging, Modular Transportation, Ballasting)
plan and schedule engineering efforts associated with assigned projects
prepare operational procedures, specifications and related data table
maintain proper engineering files and technical reports regarding assigned activities
ensure full compliance with all laws and regulations, standards and codes of practice related to the engineering concepts, designs and methods (project safety plans, risk assessment, project quality control)
provide technical assistance to Project Manager and field personnel
assist Support Sales Department with budget estimates
