Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in R&D, with proven involvement in product development and/or technical documentation, including cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in industrial/product environments, preferably within the home appliance sector.
• Solid understanding of product lifecycle processes, from development through industrialization and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with engineering and PLM tools (e.g., Catia, NX, Teamcenter), and familiarity with ERP/project tools (SAP, Microsoft Project); strong command of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with data-driven or digital tools (e.g., AI-supported tools) is considered a plus.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel.

Duties:

• Develop & update Bill of Materials for new products and manage the maintenance of existing product by:

 ◦ analysing product specifications, engineering drawings ◦ ensuring BOMs remain aligned with manufacturing requirements, compliance and legislative requirements ◦ coordinating with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, and Suppliers to ensure project execution

• Develop & update Graphics for control panels according to guidelines and commercial spec.
• Develop & update User Manuals documentation.
• Develop & update Labelling Data ensuring alignment with regulatory, commercial, and branding specifications.
• Lead and execute Cost Optimization and quality improvement activities as Project/technical leader from idea initiation until projects implementation. Collaborate with related team to deliver cost efficient solution to meet the company target.
• Create, define and ensure the detailed development of a Project plan, detailed with roles and responsibilities, lead time and deliverables.
• Prepare samples, approve it and ensure the execution of industrial trials for validation and approval.

About the role:
The Senior Product Care Engineer is responsible for delivering technical documentation on time, ensuring high quality and full compliance with guidelines. This includes maintaining accurate and complete Bills of Materials (BOMs), User Manuals, Graphics, Labels, and all documentation supporting Variant Generation activities. The position also includes the management and implementation of Product Cost and Quality Improvement initiatives, acting as project leader or technical leader at plant level.
