Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical component development within an R&D environment, preferably in the consumer electronics or home appliance industry
  • Solid knowledge of the design and development of electrical components for household appliances
  • Familiarity with national and international safety and testing standards
  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX)
  • Understanding of testing procedures, including environmental, EMC/EMI, performance, and safety testing
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
  • Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Duties:

  • Design and development of Electrical & Electro-Mechanical components for care products
  • Support cost reduction and quality improvement projects of electrical & electro-mechanical components
  • Support urgency cases testing for electrical parts e.g., part shortage, discontinued part
  • Project team member, responsible for electrical components development
  • Create engineering drawings of electrical components
  • Ensure electrical safety and conformity testing according National and International standards (IEC, CE, UL, etc.)
  • Conduct functional and reliability tests according Electrolux test specifications and procedures
  • Supplier development and technical support
  • Cost reduction projects for electrical and electro-mechanical components
  • Quality improvement projects for electrical and electro-mechanical components

All about the role:

We are seeking an Electrical Components Engineer with a strong electrical background to join an international product development environment, working closely with global suppliers and cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will act as the technical lead for selected electronic components, taking ownership of their development and coordinating activities across stakeholders.
You will contribute to the design and development of electromechanical components for household appliances (washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers), supporting all phases from design to validation and industrialization, in line with company standards.
Working closely with suppliers, factories, and internal teams, you will analyze and define technical solutions, operating with autonomy and sound judgment across a range of challenges.
This role is ideal for a results-driven engineer who thrives in a collaborative, international, and continuous improvement-oriented environment.
