Requirements:

  • MSc in Engineering and min. 7 years of experience (preferably Mechanical or Chemical) - significant engineering experience
  • engineering experience in an industrial business, such as Energy or Oil & Gas - Understanding of manufacturing processes and their quality requirements
  • experience in leading of projects shall be an advantage
  • ability to coordinate a project team in multidiscipline and cross functional environment
  • readiness and ability for frequent travelling; up to 50% of the working time, also on short notice
  • proactive and preventive approach to problem solving
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and to establish effective work priorities
  • willing to meet challenging requirements
  • knowledge of international standards for Oil & Gas Business
  • demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English

Duties:

  • leads and coordinates multidiscipline projects, supported by discipline expert and project design team; together with Project Manager a project interface to Customer, being responsible for every project related technical aspect
  • develops and maintains relationships across the product line teams to share methods and best practices
  • prepares general engineering documents: quality control plans (QCP), unit datasheets, modification descriptions, applying latest standards, Customer requirements, manufacturing abilities
  • full ownership of engineering activities schedule and documents release within project budget, including leading, authorizing engineering modifications required vs project scope
  • often, on short notice, travels for meetings: with Engineering teams, Customer; participates in tests, site surveys and follows up installation processes, coordinating technical non-conformities resolution
  • understands TR&S (Technical Regulations & Standards) requirements and has ability to eliminate potential lack of compliance against them
  • effectively identifies and mitigates risks, communicates status and issues to management
  • participates as reviewer in technical and program reviews (including: Internal Peer Reviews, Tech Reviews, Official Reviews)
  • drives and supports 6 Sigma (DFSS) methodology
