Wymagania:

Master’s Degree in Engineering required, Electrical faculty preferred. Post-graduate technical degree desired
Greater than 8 years in related field required, including post-graduate experience Competent, solid and broad knowledge in analog and digital electronics circuit design
Competent, solid and broad knowledge of electronic components
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Competent in the use of PCs and associated software
Plans, schedule and coordinate detailed phases of a major project or in a total project system of moderate scope
Ability to promote a cross functional project team environment, communicate with internal Customers and lead small project teams of engineers and technician
Competent complex problem solving/troubleshooting skills for both electrical components and subsystems
Ability to provide technical problem-solving guidance to others
Working knowledge of standards and the ability to apply complex groupings of standards into designs. Ability to quickly learn, interpret and apply new standards
Solid use of DFSS tools and methodologies; solid knowledge of engineering quality systems (PLC, Engineering change, configuration management); solid ability to compute steady state results
Complete understanding of component functions and testing requirements. Understands manufacturing processes, drawings, geometric tolerances as well as shop standards
Ability to strategically prioritize based on business needs
Demonstrates leadership skills; ability to drive results across organizational boundaries
Demonstrate knowledge of RoHs, Pb Free and REACH standards/regulations is an advantage
Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate preferred

Zakres obowiązków:

Develop, maintain and pursue approved vendor and preferred electronics parts lists
Develop, maintain and pursue electrical components related standard guidelines
Develop, maintain and pursue electrical component obsolescence strategies
Key contributor/collaborator to technology roadmap creation for strategic electrical and electronic parts and execution through close collaborations with mainly the engineering and purchasing organization
Technical support for NPI development teams in selecting new parts for their application
Effective engage with all business groups to find common requirements and understand the unique technical needs
Identifies and validates components key technology offered by the supply chain to execute long term strategies and shorter term projects
Plans, schedules and coordinates detailed phases of a supplier executed engineering project(s)
Adds critical input to engineering and supply chain strategies
Promotes and implements process improvements company-wide
Promotes a cross-functional project team environment, communicates with Customers and Suppliers
Provides technical problem solving guidance
Lead of continuous improvement efforts requiring strong integration and alignment with other functions
Participate in setting technical direction/product/components strategies
