The Engineering Design Center is one of General Electric global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC is providing engineering services for three GE businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy and GE Oil&Gas. www.edcpolska.pl
Requirements:
- Master Degree in Engineering
- good knowledge of at least one of the following programs: Ansys/ Unigraphics / Fluent (or other fluid dynamics program)
- fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering
- knowledge of ASME and ISO drawing standards
- fluent English (Fluent Italian is additional advantage)
Duties:
- leading and support of complex projects (design/redesign of low speed reciprocating compressor components)
- creation of technical documentation, drawing check
- project planning, leading reviews, communicating project status to the leadership team
- performing engineering work in high quality
