Employer description:

The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. www.edcpolska.pl

Requirements:

  • degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Technology
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • knowledge of mechanical design, including drafting, materials, testing, calculus and manufacturing technology
  • ability to work independent and gain progress in work
  • good English communication skills both oral and written
  • a good understanding of Subsea Systems related:
  • assembly and disassembly processes
  • inspection and check processes
  • repair processes
  • test processes
  • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • contribute to own development and team development
  • demonstrate good team work abilities
  • systematic and efficient

Duties:

  • specification content of the work order packages based on approved drawings, BOM’s and procedure.
  • creating required Repair Engineering Instructions.
  • technical reviews
  • support to the workshop in technical issues.
  • utilize relevant tools, processes, procedures and industry standards for assigned tasks.
  • reporting status and progress for assigned tasks.
  • act and perform according to GE’s Growth Values and with unyielding integrity
