Requirements:
- Mechanical - Aeronautical - Aerospace - Nuclear - Engineering Master/Bachelor Degree
- min. 3 years' experience in mechanical design of machinery systems
- 3D CAD modeling experience, Unigraphics is preferred
- Ansys & Workbench solid background and ability to manage thermal, stress and modal analyses
- technical coordination of design team
- Turbo-Machinery mechanical design (machine architecture and configuration, rotating and stationary parts design criteria)
- strong written and verbal English language communication skills
Duties:
- develop design of expanders, gas and steam turbines flange to flange
- FEA (Finite Element Analysis), structural and thermal (static, transient, harmonic, modal) of turbines and expanders components and sub-systems
- conceive ideas to solve mechanical problems, assess design concepts with hand calculations and FEA methods and present ideas at design reviews
- develop in conjunction with mechanical designer conceptual design, solid models, layouts, and machine cross sections
- support product validation tests (expected data calculation, post-processing and data matching)
- coordinate design team to develop machine architecture and mechanical solutions which meet product requirements, aero-thermal design inputs and overall system interfaces (for Staff position only)
