Service Engineer - Condition Based Maintenance Team - EDC Oil&Gas

Requirements:

• min. BSc in Mechanical Engineering
• experience on mechanical design; background on main failure modes as fatigue, creep, corrosion, erosion, oxidation, fretting, wear out; background on technology methods such as TBC, heat treatment, welding, inspections and repair procedures; background on Gas Turbines operability specifically applied on O&G plants
• knowledge of main O&G and large frames GT technologies and relevant drawings/part codes databases
• fluent in English
• proactive, cross-functional skills

Duties:

• analyse, working with the Condition Based Maintenance engineers and CSA catalogue team, the Gas turbines unit configuration at flange to flange component level in order to provide the all required info for CSA modelling team to let include Approval To Apply CBM maintenance/durability rules into any CSA global contract Lice Cycle Cost model
• the different steps of the analysis and the relationship/information flow to CSA roles are regulated by a process that is aimed to sustain the Contribution Margin Review process of CSA
• the activity is based on the GT parts life Approval To Apply documents, where the components lifing and maintenance characteristics are detailed, as well as on the CSA contract configuration as per Parts pedigree database
• the CBM modelling engineer has to analyse, for each and every unit, the codes working on the unit as well as the codes available in the warehouse of the each site and build the direct correspondence to ATA codes and lifing information; in order to do this he/she has also the responsibility to build up the engineering data file that links the GT parts life Approval To Apply to the CSA ICAM database. The role responsibilities include also the support to CSA Risk & Modelling team during Contribution Margin Reviews phase when each machine under CSA contract is modelled at part level in terms of repair/replace interval to provide a solid engineering back up to any choice taken in the maintenance rule area
