Requirements:
- degree in software, electronics, computer science or electrical engineering
- communicative English skills
- industry experience not required (candidates will be classified to Associate, Product, Senior or Principal Software Engineer level based on experience)
- understanding of microcontrollers architecture
- knowledge of C language as well as basics of assembler for microcontrollers
- good understanding of electronic circuits
- knowledge of other programming languages (e.g. C++, C#)
- knowledge of UML
- knowledge of software development processes (e.g. CMM/CMMI, SPICE)
- knowledge of development products of automotive industry
Duties:
- analysis of customer and/or systems requirements for the project
- creation of own design documentation for software modules being responsible for
- working with project team members on best solutions and software architectures
- following TRW's defined software process and product development process, working with tools supporting software development (e.g. change request database, configuration management system)
- developing of code for microcontrollers (8, 16 or 32-bits) for assigned software functions
