The Engineering Design Center (www.edcpolska.pl) is one of General Electric (GE) global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC is providing engineering services for three GE businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy and GE Oil&Gas.
Requirements:
- post graduate experience associated with gas turbines or similar equipment
- msc Mechanical, Electrical or Control Engineering or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years of engineering experience
- candidate must be thorough, accurate, and be able to communicate effectively both to technical and non-technical audiences
- ability to work with global team
- Desired:
- experience with various reliability tools (Weibull analysis, failure rates, probability theory etc)
- ability to work effectively with all interfacing organizations
Duties:
- execute with minimal guidance the Life data analysis and the Design for Reliability activities
- support design reviews relating to reliability analysis
- interface with the Reliability Leaders, Engineers and Suppliers to resolve reliability related issues
- assure proper documentation of technical data consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- provide accurate and detailed reports and presentations of results
