The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- minimum of 5 years Engineering Experience for Lead Engineer position
- minimum of 10 years Engineering Experience for Senior Engineer position
- technology Leadership Experience
- experience with Combustion products required
- proven coaching and mentoring skills
Duties:
- help Combustion team to achieve business goals
- lead by applying sciences, engineering theory & processes
- define needs and organize trainings for less experience engineers
- effectively identify and mitigate risks, communicate status and issues to management
- participate as reviewer in technical and program reviews
- develop and maintain relationships across the product line teams to share methods and best practices
