The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. www.edcpolska.pl
Requirements:
- MSc or PhD in Engineering, preferably Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics or similar
- good English communication skills
- familiarity with commercial programs like Patran, Ansys, HyperWorks,, running CFD and / or programming skills (i.e. Fortran) will be a plus
Duties:
- execute thermal and flow analyses
- models validation to test results
- documentation of project
