The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. www.edcpolska.pl
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Engineering
- depth understanding of aircraft engine design
- wffective written and oral English communication skills
- Desired:
- experience in aircraft engine service, testing or manufacturing
- strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- demonstrated ability in program management
- demonstrated technical and statistical skills
Duties:
- support plans and programs to enhance the performance, durability, maintainability, cost affectivity, and customer satisfaction of the assigned program hardware or systems
- differentiate the reputation of GE and the product in the field through superior technical support
- support execution of a total product plan for assigned hardware or systems consistent with technical and business objectives of the engine project/program
- monitor and report the performance of assigned hardware/system in the field
- develop training and informational material as applicable
