Requirements:
- Mechanical/Aeronautical Bachelor's degree with more than 5 years experience of gas turbine technical design experience
- sound mechanical design and analytical background
- ability to organize and lead activities of drafters/designers team; demonstrated ability to drive project to completion; strong communication and presentation skills; strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to work in a global environment
- fluent English, written and spoken
- Desired:
- Master of science in Engineering is preferred
- additional experience in rotating machinery is preferred
- Six sigma Green belt / Black belt certification
Duties:
- He/She will provide support for license agreement contracts related to gas turbine packaging and/or technology transfer
- in a packaging agreement GE O&G will supply to a licensee a complete engine while the packager (licensee) shall engineer), according to GE design data and requirements, and shall procure and manufacture all the auxiliary systems necessary for a correct and safe GT operation
- in a technology transfer agreement the licensee scope of supply will include engine parts or a complete engine manufacturing according to GE O&G documents and instructions
- He/She will be responsible for:
- define standard package of documents (documents kit) to support engineering and manufacturing activities for each license type
- creating/ updating (if required) documentation package dedicated to each unit under license
- provide commonality to license documentation content among different license contracts & model type
- defining standard packaging kits to be made available as optional supply to licensees
- defining scope of supply based on GT model or optional model)
- creating a formal information exchange process with licensee
- attending meeting with licensee providing support to sales and engineering teams
- supporting licensee inquiries
- keep documentation package update according to licensee and business needs
- He/She will be capable of understanding drawings technical requirements and apply relevant drafting rules
