The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. www.edcpolska.pl
Requirements:
- Graduate of Chemical and Process Engineering faculty or similar
- Minimum 4 years of experience in process design
- Deep skills in HYSYS (or similar) simulation program. Ability to prepare dynamic simulation will be an additional asset
- Knowledge of Compression train work principles and operation modes for Oil & Gas application
- Knowledge of basic Machinery testing standards and regulations
- At least communicative level of English, speaking and writing
- Readiness to travel abroad
Duties:
- Preparation of dynamic HYSYS simulation to support Oil & Gas Compression train Operability analysis
- Supporting system engineers and Compressor design engineer to evaluate the Compressor Operability inside customer plant
- Close co-operation with GE Oil & Gas Headquarters abroad
