Requirements:
- advanced knowledge in operating systems (UNIX, Solaris prefered)
- experience in System Security
- experience in administration of 3-tier applications and databases
- knowledge in scripting languages (e.g. PERL)
- initiative and teamwork
- proficiency in English, German would be an advantage
- knowledge of PTC Windchill PDMLink would be an advantage
Duties:
- implementation and test of PLM systems (PTC Windchill PDMLink)
- operation of PLM systems (PTC Windchill PDMLink): support, maintanance, monitoring and deployment
- isolating and verifying technical problems related to the product
- creation of Software Performance Reports
- developing workarounds for problems
- documenting common support issues and resolutions
- support of Windchill PDMLink auxiliary applications
- identification of improvements, creation and implementation of new concepts (e.g. automation)
- support Windchill PDMLink projects (e.g. customer projects, plattform activities)
- creation of new IT concepts and technologies in collaboration with internal departements
- analyze architecture and process frameworks - define measures if necessary
- identification of security leaks - development and implementation of measures
