The Cold Flow Turbine Test Facility (PoloniAero) -Laboratorium Badań Napędów Lotniczych -has been built in Zielonka, near Warsaw, Poland. It will be one of the largest and most modern laboratory of its kind worldwide, and will carry out industrial R&D for the aeronautical industry, including the testing of engine turbine prototypes and technological demonstrators used in the production of aeroengines.

Requirements:

degree in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering
fluent English
good background in project management
good background in aerodynamics and turbine performance (as design engineer)
knowledge of mechanical components design and familiarity with mechanical drawings
some background in air oil network systems and general plant services is preferred

Duties:

to be the technical reference of the test campaign:

the test leader is the technical interface with the customer and the facility personnel, he/she will have to manage all the technical matters relevant to the test campaign, with the following tasks:

to analyze test specification and plant suitability to satisfy the requirements, with the support of plant engineer and data acquisition system expert
to contribute to the definition of test architecture (integration of various subsystems) carrying out simultaneous engineering activities in the planning, production and test phases
to guarantee the execution of commissioning and test activities ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all phases with the support of test engineer

to be the program manager of the test campaign
to manage the project in terms of time and costs and coordinate the team that will operate in the test cell, with the support of the test engineer, with the following tasks:
to support the plant manager in the acquisition of new test activities, also on behalf of third parties, consistent with the capacities of the facility making use of contributions from Universities, Partners and national and/or foreign Research Centers
to plan and coordinate test activities carried out externally, integrating them with the internal activities, according to the schedule agreed with the customer and the available resources in order to guarantee the availability of all the components necessary
to monitor the KPI and make sure the test campaign is in line with the requirement

guarantee quality of test activities

He/she will have to define the rationalization and standardization of test methods report them in the test procedures, with the intention of improving efficiency and effectiveness, guarantee the quality of the test data through a suitable data validation process and be the reference to the test engineer for the test campaign quality documentation reviewing and recording
