Requirements:
- master degree (required electrical, or related)
- knowledge CAD-3D, preferably Pro / E or like CATIA
- knowledge of the rules and principles of design
- knowledge and experience in sensors & mechanical switches will be an advantage
- experience in managing projects
- knowledge of the tools and techniques of quality (FMEA, 8D, MSA) is an asset
- fluent English, German would be an advantage
- organizational skills and responsibility
- ability to work in a team
- background in Windchill-PLM is an added advantage
Duties:
- definition of concepts, product specifications and technical documentations in line with customer and WABCO requirements
- support of lead engineers for project related task
- designing new sensor & switch components
- project coordination with sensor & switch suppliers
- project coordination with test departments & laboratories
- release of products according product & test specification
- support for design changes, cost reduction projects and claims & production support
- maintain technical documentation
- Research for future sensor & switcht technologies and -innovations
- Perform technology studies
