Based in Poznan, Poland, Regional Design Centre (RDC) Liquid Foods is a Research & Development department of Unilever, where multinational teams of experts work to develop liquid foods (soups, sauces, ketchups) for the Europe market and develop new thermal process technologies for the global market. Requirements:

  • education: technical degree in Food Technology / Processing, Commodity Science, Biotechnology or similar relevant area
  • experience: 3-5 yrs in food development / production would be an advantage
  • independent, pro-active and solution oriented mindset
  • good organizational & communicative skills
  • co-leading and inspiring project teams
  • good team player
  • languages: fluent English
  • MS Office
  • readiness to travel abroad

Duties:

  • independently develops recipes / technologies in line with project brief, Product Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Best Practice guidelines
  • plans and executes standard and non-standard kitchen and technological trials in various sourcing units
  • collates trial data, is able to analyze, conclude and presents it in comprehensive form
  • evaluates new Raw Materials and new process - physical and chemical parameters, functional and sensorial aspects, processing aspects
  • independently implements and optimizes technological processes, introduces standard changes,
  • works as a team member communicating project status; technically leading minor projects in subject area
  • carries out supporting work for support of product claims, risk management, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory
