Requirements:
- at least 3 years experience in quality or/and production field
- bachelor or Master degree holder in technical / quality / production engineering discipline
- furniture or wood products expertise, technical knowledge, ISO quality system knowledge, Quality Control systems knowledge, experience with European standards (EN) and directives an advantage
- familiar with production processes is a definite plus
- strong influencing and problem solving skills
- ability to demonstrate and take initiative
- excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
- able to work under the pressure and meet the deadline
- fluent in English, both written and oral. French or any CEE language is a definite advantage
- knowledge and working proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Internet
- domestic and International travel required. B category driving licence a must
Duties:
- independently perform Quality Assurance tasks for assigned projects in the category and ensure products and associated artwork and manuals meet quality, legal and safety requirements
- handle Quality Assurance duties such as maintaining and preparing documentation, preparing samples, data entry in internal systems
- develop and maintain good communication with Suppliers and Quality Assurance Departments
- work closely with other departments (Buyers, Logistics) to ensure assigned tasks are completed on-time and with respect to Quality Assurance specifications and procedures
- assess the quality system of new and existing suppliers against pre-determined criteria; ensure implementation of agreed corrective actions by suppliers and monitor progress
- ensure quality procedures are fully understood and implemented by suppliers, inspection and test agents
- evaluate pre-shipment inspection results and determine the disposition of products while communicating with Quality Control inspectors, suppliers, buyers
- investigate customer complaints, identify corrective actions at technical aspects and work with suppliers to implement
