Engineering Design Center (EDC) was created under an agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and the Institute of Aviation. Our engineers work in following areas: aircraft jet engines, gas and steam turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, as well as industrial installations including pipelines, and automatics. EDC employs over 1600 engineers and is the largest engineering center in the Central Europe.

Wymagania:

• degree in an Electrical Engineering
• industrial experience of the design of low volume high reliability specialist electronic and electrical equipment
• ability to design electrical assemblies in accordance with principles of wiring and cabling
• knowledge of design for CE compliance, interpretation and implementation of other international design standards
• ability to work both in a team environment and under own supervision
• confident communicator at all levels
• fluent in written and spoken English Desired:
• knowledge of Rack-mounted automation & control hardware
• micro-controller (or Micro-processor) based digital system development
• industrial instrumentation and analogue signal conditioning
• electrical schematic capture and analysis tools: Altium (Protel), Pspice or equivalent packages

Zakres obowiązków:

• design of electrical control systems and components for the Oil and Gas industry
• digital and Analogue circuit simulation
• document technical data consistent with engineering policies and procedures
• conduct qualification testing of new products
• undertake prototype and test equipment assembly and test in the engineering laboratories
• work across disciplines and departments, particular production and manufacturing
