Opis pracodawcy:

On behalf of our Client, the largest engine manufacturer in Germany, located in the Berlin area, we are looking for successful candidate to fill the position of Development Engineer - Installation Aerodynamics (m/f)

Wymagania:

• engineering degree with major in Aerodynamics, Aerospace, or related subject
• excellent knowledge of and experience with CFD/CAA tools, preferably with the aerospace applications
• experience in using CFD codes FLUENT or HYDRA and grid generators such as Centaur, Gambit and/or ICEM
• good knowledge and experience in the specification and analysis of aerodynamic measurements and tests
• sound knowledge in high performance computing
• basic knowledge in airworthiness requirements and type certification process (Part 33 and 25)
• proficient use of English language, both written and spoken
• basic knowledge of German would be an advantage
• proficient communication skills within and outside of the company
• capable of independently organizing tasks and interfacing with other skill groups

Zakres obowiązków:

• optimise technical solutions which meet customers' aerodynamic performance expectations
• perform aerodynamic analyses including CFD, spreadsheet methods, and hand calculations, of the engine outer nacelle, engine intake, bypass duct, mixer/exhaust systems and thrust reverser
• aerodynamic analysis of engine integration issues with aircrafts
• support of new product development and research activities
• definition and analysis of full and model scale aerodynamic tests for validation and certification
