Plant Director

Opis pracodawcy:

An American corporation building a new cosmetics manufacturing facility in Lodz, Poland. The facility will initially have 16,000 sq. meters of production and warehousing space with an average of 200 direct and indirect employees. Position is responsible for leading and managing the production operations and all associated support functions (finance, logistics, human resources, I.T., etc.). The position must maintain close and effective interface with the New Jersey headquarters, customers, suppliers, local community and local/national regulatory authorities. The position will participate in the development of Cosmetic Essence objectives and strategies for the growth and development of the business in Europe.

Wymagania:

• in depth knowledge and experience of managing a mid size cosmetics manufacturing facility
• good knowledge and experience of current business, financial and management practices
• excellent standard of written and verbal English language skills
• good analytical and interpretive skills
• good communication, team building, integration and motivation skills
• thinks and acts strategically; manages change effectively
• highly responsive to customers and relationship building

• relevant University Degree
• ten years operational experience with at least two years in an equivalent position actual manufacturing experience in a fast moving consumer goods company (preferably cosmetic or pharmaceuticals but other FMCG categories)

Zakres obowiązków:

• ensure quarterly/annual financial and operating objectives are consistently achieved
• ensure highest levels of quality execution, service delivery and customer satisfaction
• manage and control labour, material, and overhead costs
• establish state of the art manufacturing practices
• ensure compliance to all health and safety and environmental standards
• establish good working relationships with customers and suppliers
• develop capability of associates to achieve continuous improvement across all aspects of the business
• maintain high levels of employee motivation and morale
• establish and lead initiatives that support the development and growth of the business
• maintain good relations with the local community and regional and national organisations
