TOMS Polska is looking for Product Specialist to be part of our new prestige project of establishing a new chocolate factory in Nowa Sól.
Requirements:
Preferably you have an interest in products, the taste, texture and appearance, as well as an interest in production equipment, testing and documenting processes. You must be used to apply basic food technology know-how in all perspectives, also including the understanding of HACCP/GMP principles.
The preferred candidate will have knowledge from manufacturing of food for human consumption, ideally experience in producing filled chocolate. Also experience in working with SAP will be an advantage.
Your educational background is preferably as a Food Scientist, or Chemical Engineer on a M.Sc. level.
You must have at least 3-5 years’ relevant experience. We look for analytical skills as well as a proactive and self-driven personality.

Duties:
The position has responsibility for providing food technologist knowhow and support to manufacturing of chocolate based products. The position is a part of our Product Development Department and requires interfacing with Production Management our Engineering department.
Your start-up in the position will be based on taking part of the preparation of moving the manufacturing of specific chocolate based product, preparing the process of transferring the product know-how from our factories in Denmark and Germany, to our new Greenfield manufacturing site in Nowa Sól.
The key responsibilities of this job will include:
- product specifications (Transfer from Denmark/Germany)
- preparation of translation of recipes, establish adaptation from current production equipment to the new factory
- assisting in equipment tests in Nowa Sól (not FAT tests)
- Product Qualification at startup (product match), product tests on new production equipment (new lines in Nowa Sól)
