Requirements:

  • completed certified engineer / master craftsman in mechanics-, electro technology or equivalent with proven work experience
  • detailed experience and knowledge in leading (field) teams
  • fluent proven English knowledge, both verbally and written

  • very good communication and negotiation skills
  • EHS Advocate; detailed knowledge about EHS&Safety regulations

  • driving license cat. B
  • willingness to travel (inland/abroad) & very high flexibility, 100% international travel required

Duties:

  • the Installation Lead GP&S Wind EMEA manages Installation sites across the EMEA Region as well as Asia and America, depending on business needs and reports to the GP&S Installation and Field Material Manager EMEA. The Installation Lead will responsible for the execution & organization of the assigned site and takes the responsibility for Installation & Receiving staff on site
  • in more detail the Installation Lead GP&S Wind EMEA will be responsible for the following:
  • fulfillment of the individual Installation and finishing schedule
  • fulfillment of customer and business needs
  • organizational&technical leadership for the Installation group (self-implemented & contracted) during construction and finishing of WTG
  • ensures all Quality Standards (GE internally & local requirements), including full documentation package (Job Site Book) for Installation under the respectively latest revision and according to GE processes
  • cost effective, high quality project execution within the given timeframe & budget, responsible to manage - Sub-Contractors extra- and downtime appearance
  • coordination&implementation of Retrofits & RFR (Red flag review) items
  • takes care of customer satisfaction & NPS (Net Promoter Score)
  • adheres all GE EHS processes and rules, safety instructions given by (local) law and BG-regulations
  • reporting&controlling of COQ (Cost of Quality) and time tracking for the Installation Group on site, PAC case management&monitoring
  • punch list coordination & execution, failure identification & correction
  • preparation&control of technical reports (all deviations from GE Quality Policy and technical Standards (Non Conformance Report (NCR))
  • maintain&monitor e-tools like PAC; e-field service; DWB; Documentum; COQ WF; Dartt; etc. overall for the assigned site
  • drive Process standardization and optimization for Site & Installation procedures
  • perform all tasks assigned by the Site Leader, Site Manager, or Project Manager
  • responsible to log all issues recorded throughout the project and to participate in lessons learned programs to drive change
  • assist the Site Manager / Site Administrator
  • pro-active participation at international telephone conferences
  • in addition to the above mentioned responsibilities the Installation Lead will act as Site Leader (Site Manager/Chief Installation Lead) during the absence of the assigned Leader. Also, based on business requirements, the Installation Lead can be assigned to Service tasks within the EMEA Region
