Client of Data Bank of Engineers, an international company, leader in automotive branch

education Requirements: graduate of business administration or similar or Engineering
a minimum of 4 years experience in the area of purchasing and logistics department in the production company (welcome experience in Automotive Industry)
knowledge of legal procedures related to international trade
excellent organizational, negotiations and analytical skills, highly motivated and able to work under pressure
experience in budgeting & planning process
languages: Fluent in English plus conversational German will be welcome
1-3 years of purchasing experience in Automotive are welcome
solid knowledge of contract language and legislative requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
excellent organizational, negotiations and analytical skills, highly motivated and able to work under pressure

representing Purchasing and SDE (Supplier Development Engineering) in the cross functional project teams and support the project with all Purchasing related topics.
communication interface between Program Management and Engineering to Purchasing and SDE to involve them in the program.
support the profitability of new projects by achieving best component prices and tool costs of purchased parts in line with or better as the project cost requirements.
ensure that all purchased parts are in line with the overall requirements of the GDPIM process and the project timing plan for Purchasing and SDE (incl. APQP process and PPAP timing).
implementation of all projects in the Program Tracking System, maintaining this through all GDPIM phases, reporting of the current project status regarding costs and project timing.
represent Purchasing in the CQR process and ensure consideration of best component and tooling costs. Involve Commodity Management where necessary into the CQR process.
responsible for selected commodities for purchasing related tasks supporting Operations like Quality, Cost recovery, Escalation for delivery issues.
change management for TRW and supplier driven Engineering Changes with Escalation to Commodity Management for cost changes > 5%.
support Commodity Management in resource activities and VAVE activities.
ERP system maintenance for new components (Blanket POs) as well as price changes. Standard Cost maintenance.
