Engineering Data Administrator

Opis pracodawcy:

Klient Banku Danych o Inżynierach, europejski producent maszyn transportowych.

Wymagania:

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, MIS, Business, Engineering or Technical field, or demonstrated equivalent experience
• At least 3 years' experience administering PTC's Windchill applications required
• Understanding of network and system administration
• Ability to work on a self-initiated basis and within a team environment, coordinating between various disparate teams
• Effective interpersonal, solid analytical, and proficient verbal and written communication skills required
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to set priorities and manage own workload, manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-starter with drive for results and attention to detail
• Able to independently complete assignments within established time frames

Zakres obowiązków:

• Installation, configuration, and support of a global WindchillPDMLink environment, administration of related databases, and integration with MCAD tools
• Manage lifecycles, workflows, queues, security, roles, templates, etc. within the Windchill environment
• Installation, configuration, and support of various MCAD & CAE tools including Pro/E Wildfire (Creo), Ansys, among others
• Document the system configurations
• Support process improvements that impact engineering, such as drawing standards development, modeling best practices, workspace and data management
• Configure, monitor, and report on license usage, create metrics and usage projections for budgetary decisions
• Interpret and convert product development & support needs into solutions for implementation in the PDM, MCAD, environments
• Identify and lead process automation tasks to streamline product development activities
• Identify and implement performance improvements within the systems
• Evaluate new tools/technologies for incorporation into the existing product development process to determine impact on existing system configurations
• Provide recommendations to management resulting in purchases and installation of hardware, software and equipment that will support current or future business needs
• Participate in internal user group meetings, and represent in external user groups associated with the applications used and supported
