Requirements:
- you hold an Engineering degree and have exceptionally good English skill
- you are familiar with one more Eastern European language (besides Polish) as well, it will definitely be a plus
- you are an advanced user of CAD
- you will be the versatile and all-encompassing Engineer who manages the technical management responsibility, quality assurance of all technical material and brochures as well as the training of staff
- you also need broad shoulders, a large portion of self-reliance and a substantial knowledge of the building industry
- some travelling will be required and as part of the technical organisation in Rockfon you can look forward a broad technical contact surface and motivated and skilled colleagues to spar with
Duties:
- as Technical Manager for the Eastern European market, currently covering Poland and the Czech Republic you will be overall responsible for the technical project support to the entire sales organisation and our customers
- your focus area covers the total product portfolio including technical service, quality system and claim handling
- you will assume the role as a walking library where colleagues, customers and contractors apply for technical inquiries - and you know the answers
- in detail, you are responsible for the technical specifications, mounting instructions and certificates in connection with introduction of new products, just as you prepare acoustical calculations, quantity calculations and sketch drawings in CAD
- it will be an important part of your job to secure updated technical files to fulfil legal and commercial requirements, and you will be our building standardisation representative
