The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. www.edcpolska.pl

Requirements:

MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field
minimum 2 years of experience within the offshore industry - preferably piping systems. Candidates with less formal education will be considered if they have solid and relevant experience
strong technical attitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
experience with piping analysis or design of piping systems
PC proficiency, including preferably 2 years in Pro Engineer
knowledge of English language (communicative level - oral and written)
highly proactive and results oriented
strong analytical skills combined with excellent problem solving skills
self motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team
experience in Subsea industry is an advantage

Duties:

the candidate is required to be highly motivated and a self-sufficient individual who has the ability to work with minimal supervision and capable of identifying and developing project wide design deliverables with familiarity of the interpretation of appropriate national & international industry standards
