The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. GE Aviation is seeking for Design Engineer (RPCoE). www.edcpolska.pl
Requirements:
- MS in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering
- emphasis in turbine aerodynamics
- English language written and verbal communication skills
- good team player
- referred experience with design and/or analysis of turbomachinery
Duties:
- Aero-design of turbine blades / vanes
- Turbine Aero analysis
- manufacturing support of turbine blades / vanes
