The Engineering Design Center (EDC) is one of GE Infrastructure global engineering sites, created in 2000 based on an Engineering Alliance Agreement between GE Aircraft Engines and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. EDC consists of two companies: GE Company Polska Ltd. and Warsaw Institute of Aviation. Currently EDC is working on the products of three GE Infrastructure businesses: GE Aviation, GE Energy, GE Oil&Gas. GE Aviation is seeking for Design Engineer (RPCoE). www.edcpolska.pl
Requirements:
- knowledge of English language (communicative level oral and written)
- masters degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- knowledge of material strength
- knowledge of stress problems in rotating components
- knowledge of modern engineering tools (CAD/CAE) an advantage
Duties:
- design, stress analysis and production support of rotating components
- introduce documentation changes
- evaluate nonconformance of hardware with documentation
